This is our review of the Xnito Old School E-Bike Helmet, a bike helmet that integrates safety lights into a good looking helmet. We like that it is easy to wear, easy to operate, and looks good too.

Lights on the Xnito Old School E-Bike Helmet
The chief feature of this helmet is that it has lights on both the front and the back. You switch on the back light, which also activates the front light. The front light is a solid bar of white, while the rear light has a choice of solid, blinking, or waving red light.

These lights are recharged with a USB, and each 3 hour charge should give you ten hours of ride time.

Safety of the Xnito Old School E-Bike Helmet
Xnito is laser-focused on the safety issue. While it is perfectly legal to sell bike helmets that are rated for up to 15 mph, Xnito almost doubles that mark. They have designed their helmets to meet the Dutch NTA-8766 standard, which means they are rated to give you protection at speeds up to 28 mph. This means it is rated for use with Class 3 e-bikes, that is, e-bikes that can provide assistance or boost up to 28 mph. (Class 1 and 2 e-bikes have a 20-mph limit.)
Also, their helmets cover more of the head than is necessary to meet US standards, so that you have added safety. This extra coverage is at the back of the head and the temples. At the same time, you don’t actually feel like you are wearing an usually bulky helmet. And the weight is the same as any other good bike helmet. Personally, I really like the feel of this helmet on my head.
Comfort of the Xnito Old School E-Bike Helmet
The Xnito helmet ships with two removable sets of padding that you can arrange to be comfortable for your head. Then, you just cinch a strap at the back to get it perfectly snug.
The ventilation holes are excellent. I always want ventilation holes for cycling on a hot day.
Removable Front Visor on the E-Bike Helmet
The Xnito bike helmet also ships with a removable front visor. This comes in handy if you are cycling into the sun.
Customer Service from Xnito
The company behind the Xnito Old School Cycling Helmet is renowned for excellent customer service. They even offer to replace your helmet if it is damaged in an accident. I have not personally had any need to put this warranty to the test.
Bottom Line on the Xnito Old School E-Bike Helmet
We like that the Xnito Old School helmet is easy to wear, easy to operate, and looks good too. And of course, it is a major plus that it will clearly keep you more visible and safer on your bike. And give you a degree more protection if you ever do have an accident. Plus, we sometimes ride e-bikes, and that sometimes means greater speed. It makes for that much more peace of mind to know that you are wearing a helmet rated for up to 28 mph.
