Our friends at Arkel have launched a new product! For those of you who do not know the company, Arkel is a Canadian company based in Sherbrooke, Quebec. They produce superior bicycle panniers, which are sturdy, stylish, and best of all, waterproof. See my review of my beautiful Arkel pannier set here. Below is our brief video introduction to the new Arkel handlebar bag. You can see how easy it is to cinch it up and attach it to your handlebars.
The new Signature handlebar bag is just what we have come to expect from Arkel. It is well made with a good amount of capacity, and it is waterproof. The bag comes with a detachable strap that allows the bag to double as a small purse (or man purse). The bag has a rolltop closure system and a Fidlock© magnetic snap buckle which makes access very easy, even if you are wearing cycling gloves.
Arkel suggests that the bag is perfect for a small camera, a windbreaker, maps, your wallet, or snacks. The bag attaches to your handlebars with two Velcro straps, making it easy to detach and secure for a reasonable amount of weight.
The bag comes in three colors: black, olive, and copper. I really liked the copper. This little bike bag would make a nice addition to your cycling gear, especially if you like to travel light and have the essentials at hand.
You can purchase Arkel Bike Bags direct from Arkel. You can purchase this specific handlebar bag right here.
