Mountain2Mountain is an organization based in Colorado, USA, that believes that women should be able to make their own choices and create their own solutions. Part of this is promoting the ability of women and girls to ride bikes. For example, they work to promote the right to bike in Afghanistan, believing that bikes offer independent freedom of mobility for women in a country that’s still considered the worst county in the world to be a woman.

This is a guide plus video of the entire Central Valley Greenway (CVG). It runs all the way from Science World in Vancouver to the New Westminster Quay. It’s a challenging but very interesting bike ride. Parts are magical, other parts still need work to make them pleasant. It is NOT a AAA route (all ages and abilities), even though it aspires to be. Still, it is quite an awesome route, covering 24 km (15 miles) from Vancouver, through Burnaby, and into New Westminster. It is remarkably flat most of the time, but there are a few uphills.
