Joe and I are excited to announce our new partnership with AMain Cycling of Chico, California! Our research into the company showed us that the founders were just like us.
Kendall and Kelly Bennett are passionate about their business and committed to providing the best products and customer service. AMain Hobbies was founded in 2004 as a retailer of radio-controlled hobby products, due in part to Kendall’s frustration with other online retailers in the category.
Sound familiar? Ten years ago, Average Joe Cyclist was founded in part due to Joe’s frustration with the cycling world’s focus on elite athletes; paying little or no attention to the Average Joes and Janes, like us!
Ten years later, in 2014, AMain opened a retail cycling shop in Chico, California, where they are based, and started AMain Cycling. They now have over 60,000 products available through their website. Their cycling products range from clothing, bikes, and accessories to parts. Almost like Amazon for cyclists!
We have found that their pricing is very competitive and shipping charges are reasonable. We also researched their customer experiences and are happy to report that they receive high ratings across a number of independent platforms. They are also members of their local Better Business Bureau.
Now that Joe is taking up drone training to augment our video content, I’m sure that he will be a frequent customer of AMain!
