Did you enjoy this post or find it helpful? If so, please support our blog!![]() We write this blog because we love cycling. But we also need to earn a living, so we would appreciate it very much if you click through to one of our reputable affiliates for your online shopping. We are proudly affiliated with Amazon, which sells pretty much everything, and has outstanding shipping and return policies. When you buy from our affiliates we make a small commission, and this is the only way we earn any income. Plus, it costs you nothing at all - a real win/win situation! We here at Average Joe Cyclist do not receive any information AT ALL about who you are, where you live, or what your dog's name is. Buying through our Amazon links is simply an anonymous way to thank us for our efforts, like tossing a few coins in a tip jar. Except that it is Amazon who tosses the coins, not you! | ||
Thanks for this. Some great links. But – mmm – not sure if I agree with including drunk cyclist. Is that a good thing to be promoting? Bad enough we have drunk drivers without drunk cyclists?
Glad you enjoyed the links, Monique. Actually the post was a guest post – the drunk cyclist link was his link, not mine. However, I don’t think I should censor guest posts – everyone has a right to their opinion, I think. Everyone is going to have different bike blogs they love, and I don’t want to stop people from expressing their opinion – the joy of living in a free country! Have to say that more people have clicked on that link than any of the others 🙂
OMG i was so inspired by the post about Afghan women. I take so very very much for granted. Such as my freedom to ride a bike and not have to worry about being shot, raped or killed! What an eye opener, and waht a reminder about how very much I have to be so very grateful about@
Nice to hear from you Lana. I am glad that post was so meaningful to you. And I agree – we take so much for granted; it is nice to be reminded and to remember to feel grateful.
Honestly everyone is different and must therefore be hit differently by media. but seriously, the Modacity blog touches my heart and soul – what a family, what role models, what a seriously different way to be human beings in a good way on this good earth of ours. I admire them – thank you Average Joe Cyclist for showing me this truly wonderful family and blog!
Thomas, I agree – of the 15 blogs featured, that was the one that really spoke to me. That family are great role models for us all.
